A while back, Anne-Merethe spent many years as a web editor—a role where you quickly learn what it’s like to be bombarded from all sides with requests, opinions, and demands. For the past decade, she has worked as a consultant, collaborating with everyone from small non-profits to international corporations. Along the way, she’s made just about every mistake in the book when it comes to managing relationships and stakeholders. Now, she’s here to share some of her biggest "aha" moments—and what made the difference when things went right.

Andrea has worked with language and design in many different roles and organizations. She has had to argue for (and back down from) countless language and design choices. In recent years, Andrea has often taken on the role of design lead in cross-disciplinary teams, experiencing the tension between design and leadership. She is coming to Y to help you become a bit more pragmatic and pedagogical when conflicts arise.
